Modern kids and adults take pictures with their phones, text their friends and post on social media. But in the future, where will those images and messages be? The formats we use for communicating today will almost certainly be outdated and no longer in use. Travelers will want to have a record of where they went on vacation, the vehicle they were in, what their parents and grandparents were like. Even more important, it will benefit kids to learn how to write about their experiences.

Designed for 8-to-12 year-olds, but suitable for any age, this book provides a place to document experiences on a vacation or road trip, and to preserve those memories for future generations. The first three pages have simple instructions and suggestions for what to write about. Following the instructions is a page to list the details of the trip such as who is traveling, the destination, etc. There are over 40 pages that are to be filled in with observations and pictures for each trip. The book has enough pages for two separate trips. It's a hands-on book that encourages development of writing skills and so much more.
