New houses lose their magic after a mortgage payment or two. The new car smell generally wears off after about two weeks. Honeymoons don't last forever. Even in the spiritual realm, the newness of conversion and church wears off all-too-soon The only exception is what God does in the lives of His children.
Living a life that is pleasing to God is no simple matter, in fact it is something that takes work, devotion and commitment.
What knowledge do you possess concerning life after death? What are you certain of? The Spirit-filled Christian longs to be clothed in a body fit for all eternity. None of us know with certainty what lies ahead after we are gathered to Christ. Many people have a longing inside and life seems dissatisfying. They are actually searching for home. Our true home is in heaven; but until we reach heaven, Jesus is our home. He is also our guide leading us home.
Life in tents or temporary housing; this is what life is like in this sinful and fallen world. But by God's grace, we have good courage in the solid building of our heavenly home.
Do you expect to find yourself in heaven? And what do you expect to find when you get there? How Should I Think About My Death? Do Believers Immediately Go to Heaven? What Will I Look Like in Heaven? How Can I Make Certain I Will Be in Heaven?
When death occurs, Christians should have more cause to thank God and not despair as Our bodies are earthly tents which if destroyed, we, however, have a building from God, eternal, in the heavens.
Imagine what it would be like to have no evil or dark thoughts, ever Yet, this is God's existence, and it will be our existence in heaven.
There is a need to use the right building materials and the proper foundation to become what God wants us to be in life. The Christian believer must build their life upon the solid foundation of God's Word.
For many people, life seems dissatisfying. They are actually searching for home; but our true home is in heaven. Until we reach heaven, Jesus is our home.
