After visiting Ms. Mary, his healthcare provider, his family begins the long journey of speech and occupational therapy to help Jacob accomplish his goals. By the time Jacob graduates from Pre-K, he has learned to talk, work puzzles, cut with scissors and even write his name. This book describes Jacob's early struggles and how he conquered those struggles to catch up with his peers. This is a story about encouragement, hope, and patience and was written for autistic children and their families, as well as the many children interacting with autistic children.
