Great poetry for kids

I became an accidental fan of Ms. Fisher after picking up one of her books at a second hand store. I have bought more books of hers on-line. I really like her whimsical poetry style. I always end up learning something new when reading her books. This is a book about a girl's mother that has to leave town for a while to take care of her mother. The story continues talking about animals and insects without mothers and others as well as the joyful return of mom.
