Sweet and bittersweet

Just finished reading "My Mama, Cass, A Memoir" by Owen Elliot-Kugel, the daughter of one of the Mamas and Papas. As someone who's always been fascinated by 1960s and 1970s music, this book was a refreshing change from the usual self-help and leadership books I tend to read. It's a sweet and bittersweet retelling of Cass Elliot's fascinating life, compiled with care by her daughter. The minute descriptions of Cass Elliot's life and the aftermath of her sudden passing had me completely immersed.
