A good book for anyone who loves Las Vegas

I just learned about this book because of the Centennial Celebration in Las Vegas I was listening to a local radio station here in Las Vegas and heard Eve Quillin talking about her book which has many stories about the entertainers who work here in Las Vegas. She has talked about her experiences writing about these celebrities and getting to know them, with many close friendships coming from her writing about them. I really enjoyed seeing another side of these celebrities, so this was a good book and a good read for me. Anyone who likes to read about the stars will love this book.

A pleasure to read

I have never read a book where I felt as attached to the author as I was in reading Eve Quillan's book, "My Life in Shorts". A REAL "American story. I highly recommend reading it.

I want to share my pleasure on reading this book

This book, "My Life In Shorts", was a fun read for me. I am from a small town also and I really feel that I know some of the people Eve Quillin wrote about,because my friends are like the people she describes. I love the celebrity stories also. I would love to be able to meet all of these people Eve writes about. I thank the friend who told me about the book and I know that anyone who reads it will like it.

My Life in Shorts should be LONGER!

Seldom does a person discover a book that fascinates as much as this one. Eve's accounting of her life's adventures into relationships, sex, happiness, unhapiness, etc., are portrayed via pages packed with top-notch revelations that simply do not appear in similar books. It s everything you ever wanted to know about love of a truly exciting life! Eve's revealing expose' of herself and her adventures through the years are outstanding! I read it twice and I am headed for the third time -- It's THAT good!

An entertaining group of stories about one woman's life in the 30's, 40's, and beyond, with lots of fun information about celebrities, that I didn't know before reading it.
