Over the years I have had many people ask me about my disability. Were you born blind? How much can you see? I've been asked by little kids: How do you know where you are going if you can't see? How do you read if you can't see? What is it like to be blind? I've even had some people apologize to me because of my blindness. After my senior year of high school, I decided to write a book about my life being blind. This helped me keep up on my writing and reading skills. It took me about a year to finish. I'm hoping many will be blessed by hearing about my life and seeing that I can be encouraging and inspiring to others. Life hasn't always been easy. You will read about my trials, along with the many fun times. I hope you will learn, enjoy and be inspired to reach for your goals in life like I did mine in writing this book. After I wrote this book, my mind ran wild with many more ideas. I have been staying busy writing fiction stories, mysteries, children's books and another book that is more detailed about my life's trials. My goal is to publish those, too. I hope to educate my readers to feel comfortable around the blind and understand their disability. Never let your disabilities hold you back. Having Asperger's, seizures and other health issues will never hold me back. Only God knows the future. Thank you for taking time to read about my life being blind. Blessings to you all.
