My Life as a Pancake

Liz is a 73 year old house wife, mother and grandmother who has written poems and short stories on and off again most of her life. Most of her work has not been published because she only wrote for the fun of it. But at one point in her life, she started to save some of her writings and was encouraged by family and friends to publish her work and now a book has been published. Along with her poems, Liz had written a story about herself. Liz uses a pancake as an example of her childhood insecurities. By using a pancake as an example, she tells a story on how she lets go her insecurities and how she grew into spiritual filled person when she realized that God is always in her life. God has also given her inspiration to write poems. She uses His word in the scriptures to express her inter- most feelings. The secret for her growing into a purpose filled life is pretty simple. The secret is simply found in the ingredients of a pancake and the ingredients of a person. A book everyone can enjoy!
