Stories and memories of growing up in Fort Fairfield, Maine. Why I wrote this book:This all started when I was asked to "roast" a nun and keep it clean. I immediately started thinking of my family and what they mean to me. Then all my memories of growing up in Fort Fairfield, Maine, with my family all around me came pouring out. These stories remind me of how important family is. On her death bed, my grandmother made all of her children promise to keep the family together. She said, "The only thing you can count on in life is your family, so keep them close." And that is just what each of our parents taught all of us. Today, we are 80 plus strong and close.
