After climbing for a bit, we came to a narrow path. In the pathway was a boulder that jutted out and blocked our way. In order to get around it, and not fall 100 feet to your death, you had to hug the boulder as you reached your foot to the path on the other side. Pam, Mary and I made it past the bulge but next was Ana's turn, and she was scared and started crying. I promised to hold her wrist and help her over as she clung to the bulge. She was halfway across with her body suspended over the thin air, when the thought occurred to me, "What if she falls? We'll have to go back home and tell everyone that she was dead, and it'd be all my fault!"
