I started planning my day when I realised how much more I could get done. At the end of the day, I'd go back to my To-Do list to see what I managed to do and what I needed doing the following day. It gave me a sense of achievement and I made sure I rewarded myself for it with a treat. It could be something as simple as watching a favourite program on TV, reading a book, going for a walk or just taking a break with a lovely cup of tea.
I used to write my To-Do lists on scraps of paper or create a task list on my laptop. So I've decided to create My Inspirational 60-Day To-Do Lists Journal to keep them together (I am going to order one for myself once it gets published).
If we are to keep our day structured and get things done we definitely need to plan the day in advance, and I suggest you do it, whether you do it on scraps of paper or buy this journal so that you can go back at the end of it to see how much you got done and how far you've moved forward. It's up to you which option you choose. The main thing is to do it in the first place.
