My inner me

I am grateful for this life that has given me a varied range of experiences. At times, it has been a very hard journey, so hard that I almost wanted to end it. What got me through were words, some I heard from outside, and some came from within. My diaries were my friends and in them, I expressed my poems as my thoughts took shape and helped me make sense of the challenges I faced. These poems express my hurt, my anger, my hopes and at times my very rare sense of humour.
