My Indian Journey: (Mera Bharatiya Yatra)

After William's departure for the United States, the author and Rajiv take a long journey across Uttar Pradesh to Rankhandi, the village where Jon lived and was adopted by the Rajput caste. They also tour the nearby Darul-ul-Aloom Islamic Seminary, home of the Deobandi Islamic sect and patron to the Taliban of Afghanistan. They then set out for Rajiv's home in Jamshedpur, all the way across the country in the state of Jharkhand. On the way, they travel through the state of Madhya Pradesh, taking time to explore the temple complex at Khajaraho and the medieval city of Orcha. They arrive in Jamshedpur, where Jon is taken in by Rajiv's family.
