My Granddad the Cuckoo

This is the fifth book I have written since being in lockdown due to Covid 19. The book tells the story of me as a young boy having to go to live with my Grandparents on their farm in the countryside due to having an abusive father and the death of my mother. I have to learn a completely different life to what I was used to and have to work too. I learn a lot of what my granddad did in life and it shocked me. I learn to deal with earning a living, deal with duties I have to perform with animals that rely on me to survive. I deal with post war schooling. And discipline too. It tells of the times and ways of living to survive a world that suffered greatly after a world war. It tells the story of my Granddad too, how he saw life and adapted to the way he saw it should be lived. He was a very virile man and has children all over to many women on many farms, reminding me of that famous bird the cuckoo.
