Originally, I purchased this book to read to my Grandchildren. I raise Geese and Ducks and thought the Grandkids would enjoy a storyline they could relate to 'Nana's Geese'. This book is well written, factual, AND entertaining for ALL ages. No matter how many times I read it to the Grandkids...I never tire of it myself!
A Great Book

This book is my three-year-old son's all-time favorite. The story is simple and easy to follow, but each page holds a new surprise to keep a young reader or listener interested right to the very end. 'My Goose Betsy' is very informative and tells of a goose laying and hatching her eggs - a phenomenon every child finds fascinating. It's prompted my son to ask all sorts of questions and helped him develop a greater interest, awareness, understanding and appreciation of the bird life all around us. The pictures are large and clear and realistic and expressive, and they perfectly illustrate the text. The narration is lively and fun. A very good book to add to your collection - you will read it over and over and over again.
