This is a super-fun interactive book for teaching numbers to the little tykes in your circle! Guaranteed it will keep them busy for quite some time. As they learn, they get to lift up flaps, touch and feel, and pull on tabs on the pages. I can't imagine a more educational and fun way to learn while playing, because there is so much to stimulate your child's mind. My First Jumbo Book of Numbers is a book that provides great entertainment and educational value. This would be money well-spent!
Great combo of fun and learning

My two year old selected this book among many, and has genuinely enjoyed it for months now. She has only just turned two, and can already count to ten, thanks in good part to this book. We just recently gave a copy as a birthday gift for another two year old, and have been told that it is now her favorite book as well. It is very sturdy for a pop-up/interactive book, and can be safely left with most children to "read" alone.
Excellent Interactive Books

I have now purchased all of the books in this line for my 2 yr old son & they are all wonderful!! I have a vast book collection for my son & these are by far the most interactive!! Superbly done, the creativity put into these books is truly incredible. They are very sturdy books, so even the kids who like to rip & tear (my son) would have a hard time damaging these books. I highly recommend every title in this collection, Shapes, Numbers, Colors, Letters, Dinosaurs, Things That Go, & the Christmas book. You & your little one are sure to love them too!!
lots of fun things to count

My three year old enjoyed counting the objects in this book. There are many fun objects and with creative use of flaps, textures, etc. My favorite one is a train with five cars, and each car has a flap you can lift to show five of another object. This book has no text, just large numbers from one to ten with corresponding objects clearly labeled. The objects are arranged in different ways, ie, they are not in neat rows. It is challenging therefore to count them without counting each one more than once. But I feel it is good practice in using a one-to-one correspondence between objects and numbers as you count.
MY KID LOVES THIS BOOK

My 16 month old son has lots of books, but this one is his favorite. It is very coloful, has lots of things to manipulate, and has many busy bright things to look at. Most of the lift up flaps, etc are easy to manipulate, but without adult supervision, I know that he would tear them apart.
