Great for the early reader

We recently bought this book for our four year old as a reward for reading her first pack of BOB books. At first I read the stories to her, then she did. The stories are simple, colorful, and provide enough interest for the early reader. From the very start, she loved the games at the end of each story. We were impressed how she reacted so positively to the questions relating to the story. She was soon making up her own stories related to the ones she read. We could tell she was really getting something out of these stories. The activities following each story take this good book and make it great... questions about the story, relating personal experiences, what happens next, which would you use for this activity (ie. washing). Also finding opposites, rhyming words, another word that starts like this picture, looking for letters, rebus puzzles, a maze, what doesn't belong, sequencing, find the right object based on clues, etc.
