This book is designed to help young children learn the letters of the alphabet and to write the upper case and lower case letters. There are 3 sets of the alphabet with different writing practice lines beneath. Each letter can be colored in using crayons, pencils or inks. It would be a good idea to place a sheet of paper or card beneath it to prevent colors seeping through. The second section allows the child to trace each of the letters by following the dotted lines and writing the name of the animal for each letter.The third section again allows the child to color each letter and animal, and to write three short sentences. At the end of the book there are 10 blank pages for the child to draw anything he or she wishes.This book would make an excellent gift for grandparents or aunts and uncles to give the young child.
