Ana has been away in the fairy world getting to know her Grandfather Zephyr, but she misses her friends terribly. She and her friends plan to meet at the public pool before having a sleepover at Tamsin's house afterward.
After once again losing the fight to capture the family spellbook, Tiberius fell into deep despair. When Thorne found him, he was in rough shape. Thorne then told him about a book believed to be a myth among the magic community: the Grand Grimoire, the oldest unscathed spellbook. It is the only spellbook not bound to an owner and contains long-forgotten spells.
Unaware that her uncle is up to anything, Ana meets her friends at the pool. Then the Earl King appears in front of everyone, forcing Ana, Rosa, and Tamsin to escape back to Tamsin's house. There, Kalia shows up and fills everyone in on Tiberius. Now Ana and her friends must forfeit their night of fun to track him down.
Zephyr joins the group, and they meet a member of the secret order bound to protect the Grand Grimoire. They pursue Tiberius, but he still seems one step ahead.
Tiberius must obtain the bloodstone and the wand before he can go after the Grand Grimoire. Will he find the items? Will he steal the book? Or will Ana and the others stop him in time?
