My Diary Rhymes

Before I even knew how to write, I was always telling stories. I saw looking to show my creativity any way I could. When I was first introduced to poetry in sixth grade, I knew I found a life-long love. Because I have been writing poetry for so long, my poems serve as a time capsule, a diary of my life. They aren't only examples of where I was emotionally, but also where I was in my development as a writer. Looking back, I can see the rise and fall of different rhyme schemes, phrases, and structural elements in my poetry.
