My Dad's Getting Married

With the way our lifestyles have changed many couples have children from previous relationships. I have written this story for couples who plan to wed in the near future and have children to explain about the changes to come. This story is about a Dad who has been raising a child by himself and is now planning to marry his best friend. My intention of MY DAD'S GETTING MARRIED is to bring hope for young children to understand that a step-parent brings more gifts of love and joy into the newly formed family. A step-parent does not take away from the relationships of the other parents but rather they add to the existing relationships and form a bond. My wife said "A step-mom is the Mom when I am not present." I hope this book inspires parents too!
