My Colour is Love

When the second wave of the pandemic hit the world, it spared no one and shook the very foundation of life. To deal with these difficult times, Jhelum turned to writing poems-poetry that kept her flame of hope alive. The wail of ambulances kept her awake all night. She used those traumatic waking hours to compose her poem and then sent it out as messages of comfort to friends who were feeling low. And also, to those feeling high. This endeavour gave her immense satisfaction and joy. The topics of these poems are often meditative, always compassionate, sometimes quirky and fun, and sometimes ruminations on life as it happened around her.
