If you still believe in employment propaganda that your employer wants to make the company a place people want to come to work and look forward to being there, this book is not for you. If you still think that your employer has your interests in mind, this book is not for you. On the other hand, if you have finally woken up and see the world in its real colors and you understand that your employer wants to exploit you, your value depends only on what value you bring to the employer, and that the moment your employer doesn't see any value in you or value that is below your compensation, you will be unemployed, then you are in the right place. Obviously, it is much better to have a fulfilling career and a place where you enjoy working and look forward to going to every day. Unfortunately, that doesn't always work, and in my experience, it didn't work for some time. This book is not to discourage employment. I encourage all of you to get employed a few times before you decide what works for you. Learning at an employer is cheaper than learning on your own, thus in my opinion everyone must do it for at least ten years. But when you do it, you must be smart. If my book ever gets in the hands of those people that haven't lived in the real world and they decide to label it as immoral and opportunistic, I would say they are correct. This book is for people that live in this world and for those that know that the world is brutal, immoral and opportunistic. Those that still haven't grasped that reality are either protected by money that someone else earned for them or simply suffer from an inability to comprehend reality. For those people, their perceptions are their reality, and only time and events that brutally reconcile the difference will set those misguided souls on a correct path. This book will show you how to get some parting cash to soften your landing between jobs before you find your perfect one.
