Richie Ime-Albert passed away in Manchester, England, at the age of just 16 of Cardiomyopathy. In the fortnight before his death he felt an urge to 'sort things out', thanked his teachers with gifts, took down his Facebook page and told his parents and siblings how much he loved them. He was admitted to hospital on the 18th May 2011 and sent home on Saturday 21st May 2011 sending his Mother the text message: "Ain't Life Grand!" While reading these poems you will encounter many of the wide range of difficulties which comes up in life. Teenage years are the most turbulent time of our life; the perfect time to explore and create poetry - unfortunately Richie passed away at his peak. This book stands as a tribute to the memory of a beloved son, brother and friend.
