My Alaska

In the summer of 2008 I set out on an adventure with fourteen strangers. We came together in Alaska, to take part in a NOLS course that would send us into the heart of the Alaskan wilderness, in Wrangell St. Elias National Park. For three weeks we backpacked through the harsh wilderness, carrying our food and our gear on our backs and learning how to survive, and thrive, in the wild. This book contains my journal entries from our expedition and describes the events that transpired, the people I grew to love and the closeness I felt to God as I endured, and enjoyed, this incredible journey.
