My Adventures Around the World: Central America: Summer 2012

During the summer of 2012, my adventure began in Costa Rica with a side trip to the Isla Tortuga. From the capital, I ventured over to San Vito and the Las Cruces Biological Station. Continuing south, I entered Panama and toured through David, Boquete, and El Valle on my way to Panama City and Isla Taboga. After exploring Panama City, I flew to Cartagena, Colombia. After checking out Isla de Baru and The Playa Blanca, I made my way by bus over to Santa Marta and Tatanga to the east. Bucaramanga, San Gil, and Barichara were next with a whitewater trip on the Rio Fonce in between. Medellin, Manizales, Pereira, Ibague, and Armenia led me to Bogota and the end of my journey.
