Musings on Union

Our marriage union with the Lord Jesus Christ is full and complete, now and forever, as an inclusion into the same relationship Jesus enjoys with the Father. Jesus expressed our present and perfect union with Himself: That they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one. John 17 What do these words mean? How complete, how perfect is this union we live in with the Person of Jesus? How do we know God? What does this wondrous merging of pure and perfect union, communion, and expression with the Father and with Jesus Sent always arising every moment within us really mean? Is it God's will for us to know Christ as our only life now? Is it God's will for us to put the Lord Jesus Christ upon ourselves in all ways in every moment and to turn our backs forever against any thought of not-Christ?
