My name is Edward Alfred Paradis. First and foremost, I am an American Patriot. I served my Country and love my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My ancestry is a mixture of multiple ethnicities, European, Native American, possibly some Cajun, maybe even some Scandinavian and probably some that would surprise even me. One thing I know for a fact though is that I am mostly of French-Acadian descent, 13 generations worth. My trucker friends fondly refer to me as Thee French Maniac (Thee_French_Main_E_Ac) and I wear the moniker with utmost pride. My redneck friends have honored me by dubbing me the title "Honorary Redneck." I absolutely love that title and I literally, proudly, wear it on my chest as often as I can. I have long thought about putting my adventures and misadventures on paper and I guess this is as good a time as any to do it. Like most folks, I've had some lows and some highs but, in the aggregate, I guess I'd have to admit that my life has been pretty darned good and some would even call it charmed.
