Musings: Great Memories and Reflection on a Life Well Lived

As a veterinarian I've always been aware of animals' basic instincts and how we can learn from their behavior. In retirement I chose to write about my multiple experiences as a practitioner but also to see and delve into other avenues of life, cultural aspects including music, writing, as well as athletics. Being in such an intensely scientific profession can narrow one's perspective on what constitutes a full life. I wanted to do that while I was in reasonably good health. I have been so very blessed with the opportunity to live my life more fully and for that I am humbled and grateful.
