Key book for Kodály educators

This is a classic for teachers using the Kodály method for music education. There is a discussion of the musical concepts that can be developed with preschoolers and Kindergarteners, suggestions for planning curriculum, as well as an extensive group of songs and rhymes for classroom use. The songs and rhymes aren't in translation -- they are authentic American or English language folk materials. There is no better source in my opinion for pentatonic songs and chants for children with the smallest note ranges, la sol mi and the full pentaton.
