Anything that can go wrong, will... and more

While everyone is familiar with Murphy's famous axiom, Bloch has culled the laws of physics, common sense, and "stuff" happening into one ever-expanding volume. Reading many of the laws brought smiles to my face, because there's so much truth to it. A nice diversion, and highly recommended.

BIBLE FOR REALISTS-PESSIMISTS

Life is full of laws we do not think about, but that are not part of the laws of natural sciences since they are not based in biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics nor any other law in the universal set of laws---they are MURHPY'S LAWS! You are driving on one lane and see the other one is moving faster, so what do you do? You change lanes. Here's where Murhpy's Laws govern over natural laws...the other lane always moves faster, until you move into it! Washing you car to make it rain won't work; things work pefectly at the repair shop; water-soluble ink that won't be absorbed by the porous paper will mark you white shirt forever!
