Hank Carson, a former LA Police detective, now semi-retired is writing an article for a national, is embroiled in a mysterous murder. The victim is an abusive food and wine critic. Hank secures the crime scene on the famous Napa Wine Train. He assists the CBI during interrogation of over 200 suspects. He is attracted to the lead CBI agent. It is an entertaining "Who Dunnit" with romance and sex. Less Former Los Angeles Police detective, Hank Carson has dealt with crime, corruption, mayhem and gang violence. He travels the country in his RV with his loyal companion, Molly, a seven year old black Lab. At a wine tasting fund raiser aboard the famous Napa Wine Train in the picturesque area of the Napa Valley wine country. Hank Carson, finds himself embroiled in a homicide while covering an event for a national magazine. Now a free-lance writer, Hank is asked to secure the crime scene on the famous Napa Wine Train until the authorities arrive. At the crime scene Hank meets Alicia, the senior agent with California's Bureau of Investigation and assists with solving this mystery. The situation becomes romantically complicated, and a challenge for Hank and Alicia to remain focused on solving the murder. With nearly two hundred potential suspects the time spent finding the killer, keeps them together. The snappy dialogue combined with twists and turns between denials and confessions makes this an intriguing story.
