Murder on Sassafras Creek

By James Roberson

Nick Eddins was a successful mineralogical engineer. He was a loving husband and father, and friend to virtually everyone in his life. He also was the prime suspect in three never solved murders. Among his long-time friends were two veteran lawmen who investigated all three of these murders. Circumstantial evidence pointed toward NIck Eddins as being involved in each of these murders. Facts did not point to him in any way. Though he was never detained, arrested or tried by judge and jury for any of these crimes, Eddins paid a horrific price for these murders. Everything he loved was taken from him by the God he trusted and worshipped. Eddins blamed himself. He played God and God didn't like that. For the veteran FBI and Georgia Bureau of Investigation officers who investigated Eddins' role in three murders, the question remains: Is Nick Eddins a Saint or his he a Sociopath.
