Murder in the Hamptons

By Danita Carter

Book Overview

The worlds of music, money, and murder intersect when an unruly rapper moves to an elite community in the Hamptons, sparking a deadly clash between the classes. When a murder follows the arrival of a wealthy rapper and his unruly crew to an ultra-exclusive beach community, the hoity-toity locals soon discover that someone in their midst is hiding a dark secret. . . . The residents of Coco Beach, a private enclave tucked away in the Hamptons, are black society snobs with roots that run generations deep. So imagine how incensed they become when TuSmArt, a rapper with money but no pedigree, infringes upon their tranquil summer getaway. When a body is found floating facedown at TuSmArt's yacht party, the police waste no time swarming in to find the killer. The snooty locals rejoice, certain the unwanted inhabitants will soon be evicted--until one of their own is implicated in the murder.
