Murder is a hard act to follow. The only thing Mabel knows for sure is that the butler didn't do it.

All the drama doesn't take place on the stage at the Glenhaven Drama Festival. A collection of amateur actors, with big egos, land in Mabel Havelock's hometown. A cast member of the Glenhaven Players is dead. An accident or murder?

Mabel has been railroaded into taking a role in the play. As the drama festival progresses, mysterious accidents and sabotage are happening on and off stage. Then the adjudicator becomes the prime target.
