Lively characters & engaging story, but no mystery here!!

Annie McGrogan is an actress who moonlights as a detective to pay the bills. This time, she races against the clock to find out who killed the handsome director of her "big break" movie. The police have tagged her as the prime suspect, and Annie and her partner, Sonny, explore the lives of the movie actors, producers, and others who live and die by each take. Spunky, intelligent, witty and believable. Ms. Farrell captures your imagination and your heart with her lively, down to earth characters. Each scene is impeccably written with wit, wisdom and clarity. The ending leaves much to be desired, and if you are in the mood for a good "who done it", this may not be for you. Read it for the lively characters and the engaging atmosphere!!
