Easy to Follow, Clear Pictures

Africa: Egypt, South Africa, Ethiopia, Ghana; Americas: Dakota Indians, Mexico/Central America, U.S.A.; Asia: India/Indonesia/Southeast Asia, China, Japan/Korea, Vietnam; Europe: Scandinavia, Rome, 15th and 16th Century Europe, Medieval Europe. This resource contains excellent directions and clear pictures. Some of the books may not be suitable for all ages but most are adaptable (author includes many suggestions for this). Each book also contains background information, variations and suggested readings.

Useful Resource For Teachers

This book is a fantastic resource for teachers, especially at the elementary level. The many different types of books detailed here are easy for children to make and make great lesson extensions in Language Arts, Social Studies...really, across the curriculum. I have made the comic books with first graders, and the medieval books with third graders, both very successfully. I highly recommend this!
