These poems are a collection written when the author was in the throws of a psychotic break. The art was done during the emotional processing of the psychotic break. The goal of this collection is to create a universal and understandable metaphor out of a unique suffering. It is to bring a voice to the marginalized. It is to bring awareness to the less beautiful, less controllable illnesses such as Schizoaffective Disorder and D.I.D. Open yourself to view the world in a way that is metaphorical and delusional. Be disorientated with me. This is not a romanticization but an olive branch. This is not a memoir but a vivisection. Come with an open mind. Every cent of this goes to supporting the disabled author and her dream to become a professional writer.
