Don't get left behind by not reading Mullet Run

The infamous oak tree has roots embedded deep into the soil of mayport. Reynolds has only just begun to uncover these roots of this small fishing community through his writings of Jetty Man and Mullet Run. Mullet Run will keep you immersed into the southern lives of these drawn out, sexually-seasoned characters of G.W. Reynolds III. His vivid storytelling, once again, breathes life into the myths of the oak tree and stimulates arousal of sexual fantasies to all who read his writings. Reynolds, masterfully continues to unveil more of these silent, bewitching, exciting, breathtaking sensations and situations that evolve from a day in the life of this small village and all who become involved in it. Don't get left behind by not reading Mullet run. If you have read it, hang on tight as Reynolds can only penetrate deeper into the orgasmic soil of mayport in his upcoming novel "Oak Baby".
Great Southern Writers Live On!

Having recently completed "The Mullet Run" by Dr. G.W. Reynolds III, I flashed back on all of the great Southern writers since the end of World War II. We have another to add on to a list that includes Percy Walker, Truman Capote, J.D. McDonald, James Dickey and, James Lee Burke. The ability to write conversationally in the post war vernacular is one of the strong points in this continuing series about the haunted fishing village of Mayport, Florida and the characters who, in some instances, still live there hard by the St. Johns river. "Mullet Run" continues the life stories and adventures of Jason and his momma, Mary C., As they live their complicated lives out amid the denizens that inhabit this small and hidebound little ocean front southern town. I won't reveal the plot twists here. You'll have to let the story unfold and allow the characters to present their lives to you in the unhurried manner of great southern literature. Do yourself a favor. Forget Gresham. His stories are predictable, shallow and rather like reading a movie script. Buy something new that might possibly challenge long held assumptions about the South and its people. "Mullet Run" continues the tradition of fine Southern literature. Buy it and its predecessor, "Jetty Man". Money well spent. You won't be able to put it down. I couldn't.
After reading Jetty Man, you must read this book!

I don't normally read a great number of novels. After reading "Jetty Man," however, I couldn't wait until "Mullet Run" came out and I am not disappointed! If more books were written in the down to earth, no-nonsense style like G. W. Reynolds uses, I would probably read a great deal more. I was born and raised in Jacksonville, not far from the town of Mayport. Life in the rural south was difficult, very similar to the trials and tribulations of Jason, Mary C., The Hawk and other characters in "Mullet Run." I can't imagine anyone's not enjoying the novel. I could barely put "Mullet Run" down and it's going to be difficult to wait for the next story, "Oak Baby."
The Wild Jetty Man continues, grab onto something!

Mullet Run is the perfect companion to Jetty Man. Not onlydoes the storyline continue where the first novel ended, thewonderfully simple prose, colorful characters, and a hair-raising, suspenseful plot grace the pages of this novel also. Surely everyone who read Jetty Man had a common thought at the end of the story: "We've gotta' get Jason out of this mental institution."This novel also contains 13 pen and ink illustrations by the artist who is also the cover artist of both novels. They include a map of Mayport and surrounding areas for the reader's orientation. There are also illustrations of the lighthouse, Mr. King's haunted house, Miss Margaret's store, the Buccaneer Ferry and more. Watch and see. Mullet Run will be a comparable story of the "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" only for Mayport and the Jacksonville area instead of Savannah. Buy this book! But, make sure you read Jetty Man first.
