This study explores the mulberry root rot complex caused primarily by Fusarium oxysporum, examining rhizosphere microflora, pathogen biology, and disease expression. Extensive field surveys, pathogenicity tests, and microbial analyses revealed key factors influencing disease severity. Biocontrol agents, fungicides, vermicompost, and oil cakes were evaluated, with integrated disease management proving most effective. Results highlight the potential of combining beneficial microbes, organic amendments, and cultural practices for sustainable root rot control in mulberry.
