"Ms." is a short collection of poetry that I have been writing for the last few months. The poems featured in "Ms." are not completely autobiographical, but I can see myself in every single word and punctuation on the pages. "Ms." is, in my opinion, a collection of poetry about what it means to be a woman; and it deals with the thoughts, feelings, relationships, situations, etc. that I think every woman has, or will, experience at some point in their lives. For me, "Ms." is written in poetic and confessional conversations because that is where we, as women and as people, express ourselves and our struggles, through conversations with those that we love. "Ms." is very raw, very in your face, and although I am nervous about how the brashness of these poems will be received, I am very proud of the work that I have created.
