Simple text and photographs describe the duties and responsibilities of a public librarian who helps people access information. This description may be from another edition of this product.
This book is special to me because it shows some lovely pictures of our own local library on Staten Island. The language is simple and suitable for a young reader. Some of the information is slightly dated - we see the librarian signing a card on a book to take it out, there's mention of videocassettes but none of DVDs - but, on the whole, it's still relevant.
