Notice to Readers
Knotweed Gold was created as the middle chapter of an exploratory trilogy examining emotional complexity, relational rupture, and identity formation during early adolescence. Developed during a specific season, the work functioned as both a narrative and reflective experiment-exploring how conflict, loss, and uncertainty can be metabolized through story, creativity, and self-inquiry.
The project fulfilled its role.
Knotweed Gold focused on the destabilizing middle space: where friendships shift, self-perception fractures, and clarity is not yet available. It offered language for confusion, permission for emotional messiness, and a framework for navigating change without immediate resolution. That cycle has now been completed.
This edition is no longer in active development. While the insights and structures explored through this work remain integrated, the publication itself has reached its natural conclusion as part of the broader project.
Thank you to the readers who engaged with this story during its active phase. Some chapters exist not to resolve-but to help us pass through.
