Interesting Take on Reference Books

I found this book to be both hilarious and a solid reference. I've always been a big movie fan, but not necessarily a person that seeks out nudity in film. The Skintastic video guide caught my attention and held it. It's a light, quick read with plenty of witty writing and entertaining tid-bits. Mr. Skin obviously takes his nudity seriously, (i.e. the exhaustive body part counts) but the book doesn't get bogged down with numbers and mere recitation of boring facts. I wasn't previously aware of Mr. Skin's first book, MR. SKIN'S SKINCYCLOPEDIA, but the Skintastic Video Guide convinced me to seek out that title as well. Besides being a good reference, it's also a perfect coffee table book and conversation starter for house guests. Overall I would recommend this book to even the most casual of movie fans.

Great book for nudity in movies!

Mr. Skin's Skintastic Video Guide gets right to the point and brings us 501 movies that the skin fan should see. Even if you've seen many of the movies listed Mr. Skin is always there to provide witty commentary to keep the movie fresh! There's a lot to explore and Mr. Skin always does a great job brining the flesh to the fan.

"Handy" reference in the age of TiVO & DVR

Though closely related the voluminous Skincyclopedia, which is more useful to find actresses you want to see bare, the Skintastic Video Guide alerts the reader to what films will give you the most bang for your buck when you order your netflix or hit blockbuster. Coupled with DVR, and the ability to search out what movies will be airing on Skinemax, et. al., this is a powerful tool for nudity surfing. To borrow a phrase from Iron Mike Tyson, hands off to you Mr. Skin!

Great compilation of films!

This book is a great list of the top movies of all time for nudity. There are some big budget films that everyone has heard of, and some less known independent and cult films. The great part is, that all movies listed in the book are available on DVD so you can take a look at the nude scenes on your own. Mr. Skin is the expert on nudity in films so this list seems to be right on. Its a great read that is a lot of fun whether you are a fan of Mr. Skin, films, or just nudity in general. A must have for any movie fan.

Blockbuster here I come...

I got a copy of the latest book by Mr. Skin and have been to Blockbuster three times already. I am not sure how they did it but Mr. Skin counted all the body parts that show up in his favorite 500 movies, I mean like down to the boob and bun. You know you are looking at a good book when it shows an odd number of boobs, not counting by pair but rather by individual boob. At the end of the book they also list in order Mr. Skin's favorite 69 movies which I have decided to try to rent sequentially over the next couple months. I have gotten through the first three - Showgirls, Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Two Moon Junction. So far I can't disagree with the man.
