Our favorite children's book

We bought this book in Australia, and it was the favorite of both my sons for many years. The language is poetic and the story captivating. While I have donated most of my children's books to charity, I will not ever part with this one. If I ever have grandchildren, this book will be my ace in the hole. A grandparent who can read you a book this good, has to receive top ratings. And I will never forget Pumpkin, "who hated baths." If you enjoy the drama of reading to your children, this is the book for you. The language and illustrations are wonderful.
