Mr. Pencil, Mr, Teacher is a series of children's picture books that entertain and teach children at the same time. The subject-based stories are designed for young readers or listeners. In this second tale, Mr. Pencil teaches children about the color wheel. Other stories will involve teaching children about letters of the alphabet through rhyming narrative as well as a host of other topics. Ed Vieira has written textbooks and children's picture books. As a professor, he has extensively studied children's reading, learning, and what motivates kids to read. The illustration are from California artist, Lisa Delaney, who works in various artistic mediums including watercolors, acrylics, pastels, and pencil/ink. It is published by Valerius Publishing.
