I Loved it.

I just loved the change in Josh from the previous 2 books (Caught in the act & Treat her right). Amanda is a very scarred young woman who cannot get involved with any man. That is until she meets Josh. In the previous books Josh justs loves women & lots of them. When he finds out the reason of Amanda's trauma he becomes one of the most wonderful, caring man she has ever known. It is a very moving story & one I will always remember. I do hope this is not the end of Mick, Del, Zach, Wynn, Danni, Josh & Amanda in future books. I just love all the charachters.

Touching and sexy!!

Firefighter Josh Marshall wants Amanda Barker! And she wants him--to pose for her calendar. When they get together to talk it over, Josh sees beyond Amanda's cool, uninvolved exterior. He knows that she is emotionally scarred from something in her past and that she is fighting her feelings for him because she thinks she doesn't deserve anything good in her life.Josh's heart breaks every time her pain surfaces and once he realizes he loves her he accepts his fate & determines to make her happy.

Great Book and Great Characters!

Wow - Lori Foster has a flair for writing great characters. They seem so real - with real life hang ups. Amanda is a complex woman - that you could imagine in real life.. as well as Jpsh. The dialogue taht Lori gives Josh is so "real life" he really sounds like a 27 year old modern guy. I am now a devoted Lori Foster Fan!

Sparks fly -- Very highly recommended

The calendar is virtually complete, lacking only Mr. November. And saving the best for last, she delivers a story worthy of the man in the hero’s shoes.Josh Marshall, firefighter and man about town, never missed a chance to razz his best friends when the love bug caught them. But when the tables are turned and the hunky fireman falls head over heels for the woman bent on including him in her charity calendar, it’s a whole different story. He knows that below Amanda Barker’s frosty exterior is a woman waiting for the right man to awaken her passion and he knows that he’s the one. Amanda has a secret. One that keeps her from enjoying life to the fullest, that drives her to help others, that keeps her from getting close to any man. She’s absolutely sure that Josh Marshall will prove no different. In the Dear Reader section in the front of the book, Ms. Foster tells us about her research for the story and how it led to meeting the man who heads up the South Florida Firefighter’s Calendar Project. At this time in our history, when the loss of many of these brave men in New York City is still so vivid in our minds and weighs heavy on our hearts, the chance to help others who have been victims of fires was one I couldn’t pass up.
