Fletcher Grayson is a beloved veterinarian in the small village of Churchtown, Lancashire, England. The handsome and gentlemanly vet has a beautiful pregnant wife and life is wonderful as far as he is concerned. However, his peaceful world is about to make a drastic change.

The new journey begins with a letter from the prestigious University of Minnesota inviting him to a convention dedicated to veterinarian science. Fletcher is thrilled at the prospect but hesitant to leave his wife Annie due to her condition. Forcing her husband to seize the opportunity, Annie pushes Fletcher to make the trip to America but not without a mysterious sense of doom building within her.

Arriving back in his beloved England, the people close to him sense a troubling change in the man they have always known-a sense of danger while in his presence. Annie's childhood friend Romany gipsie Korin Ascendi senses evil in Fletcher and vows to protect Annie at any cost.

The terror soon begins as horrendous murders occur. There's a new creature roaming Churchtown and surrounding areas-an ancient, terrifying entity is hunting. Korin Ascendi feels a change within him after the death of his soothsayer grandmother and with the help of St. Michael accepts his new role in life-kill the Beast
