Mr. Edmond, Lord of Nightdreams

Mr. Edmond's duty is to visit naughty children and send them tailor-made educational nightmares.

During his trip to the Netherlands, he meets Jule and Sam whose parents have won a trip to the moon and have completely forgotten about kids. It turns out that the children were unreasonably accused by a witch living next door.

Jule and Sam come to visit Mr. Edmond in England, but New Year's Eve is disturbed by a toothbrush, Kitty, who has escaped from a nightmare to pursue her own dream of becoming a painter's brush. Mr. Edmond and children must do their utmost to find Kitty before the sun rises.

During the Italian trip, the bike of Mr. Edmond is stolen by Diego, a teenager whose behavior has never improved despite years of visits and hundreds of dreams. And now Mr. Edmond has to confront him outside of world of nightdreams...

From the author: 'I truly believe that children's books should not be written in an overly simplistic manner. I thought of "Mr. Edmond ..." as the book to be read out loud by adults to children, to spend time together, explain new (difficult) words, and exchange thoughts on the situations described in the book.
