Revealing, sensitive study of a disturbed, charismatic man

Barry Rothman was indeed an enigma to those who thought they knew him. Radiating charisma, creating his own world, burning like a "candle in the wind", adults and children alike responded to the spark within him. David B. Rothman took the time to examine the twists and turns of the brief life, a feat that only a determined, heartbroken child could accomplish. Mr. Death stands not only as a biography, but as a work of art in itself. Only those who knew Barry can realize the strength it took to examine his life with a critical, yet caring eye. David has accomplished this. No one else could. Everyone else was either too angry for what he was not, or too caught up in the myth of what he was. Good job David!
